Some settling of contents may have occured during shipping

We continue to settle in here. Sunday was rainy so we did not ride. Good thing due to all of the work we got done unpacking. We are down to two boxes!
We wanted to watch a tv show on the VS network about a bike race so called a sports bar near where I work and asked if they would show it. They said sure, no problem, since there was not anything else on that people really wanted to see. We ended up in our own room and they even put the sound on. We took the MARTA train from near our house to avoid having to drive and park in a busy area of the city. It was two stops and ended up one block from the sports bar. They have really good food there!

For those of you in the know, bike racing without commentary can be pretty boring. Without commentary from Phil Ligget, Paul Sherwin and Bob Roll, either together or by themselves, watching a bike race can be REAL boring. So being able to listen to commentary was fun. It was odd watching a bike race among paraphenalia from "regular" sports as you can see in the picture. We were happy that one of our favorite racers, Jens Voigt, won the race.

Nancy started working today doing some work for her clients back in California. Our lives are seeming more normal every day.

Dig the picture of the cigarette machine located in a sports bar/restaurant. Haven't seen one of them in a long time. The photo of the tall building gives you an idea of where we were thinking of trying to live.

We decided living in a highrise did not fit our lifestyle what with having to take our bikes up and down an elevator. We have more greenery around us just outside our windows giving us a less "city" feel.

Margaret Mitchell house. We decided not to pay the $12 each to go inside.
